Wheee!

This semester I have been determined to prove to myself that I can manage my time better than I have in the past. This is partly because I have three studio courses that require large amounts of out of class time, but also due to my new job which needs me to be on top of things.

This past weekend I allowed myself to "sag" in keeping track of my time quite a bit. This became quite noticable on Monday when I realised that there was a lot of things that were due Monday, Wed, Thurs, and Friday that I could have been working on all weekend but chose to play games on my computer.

I've told my self for this week, I won't be playing games until I am able to catch up on what I need to. I know three studio courses isn't exactly the brightest idea (Kevin has four so it is even crazier for him), but sometimes you have to do what you have to do and get things done.

So, as you can tell this weekend wasn't productive at all and that's pretty much all I have to say about them. My iPod nano isn't here yet, which makes me a little sad but since I personalised it Kevin says it will be a bit longer. I also bought the full season of "Full Metal Panic" a VERY weird and interesting anime from England for only $35.00. Last night I purchased the new(?) "Foolish Things" CD. My photography paper for class should be in soon, hopefully....

Now that I am awake enough to walk around I'm going to start getting ready for work. :3 See ya.

Update : How my life is going.

As I sit here in Emry Lobby contemplating sleep at 2:30 in the morning I check how long it has been since I've updated my blog. Sadly it has been almost two months. For a while I had lost motivation since hardly anyone comments and I feel no one even bothers reading it.

This past month has been quite amazing and horribly busy. I am not just saying this because of school, like every other college student. So you understand how confusing and strange this past month has been I will talk about it in detail.

During the end of the summer I got a job working in Lowry Hall as work study. I really liked my jobs, and since the hours were few (being part time) I was able to really put myself into my work and excell. On the last day of work study, the main man's secritary asked to talk to me with the boss. I was a little amazed, but followed anyway knowing that both of them were really cool people.

In the bosses office he told me that they wanted me to stay and work as an E-rate person as well as their web development person. I started the following Monday, and have been there ever since. It is a fun job, so far I have yet to fill out forms for schools (e-rate) but they are due soon so it will be coming next week.

My favorite Aunt Lucielle passed away the first couple days before we were moving into the dorms. My mother and sister flew down to Texas to go to the funeral and see how the family (my dad's) was taking it. They were all doing well, she had been getting pretty old so they all knew it would be soon anyway.

Within a couple days after Mom and Melonie came back, Mom got news from someone my dad works with that he hasn't been doing well. After talking to him on the phone and seen how well he was, Melonie and Mom went to Louisianna to pick him up and bring him home.

When he arrived here he was in horrible condition. He has some serious diabetes, and when his insulin froze a couple weeks ago he kept using it anyway. This resulted in his condition since it wasn't doing it's job. He is doing better now and slowly gaining strength and what not. The best thing that came out of this was that he had given up drinking. He has always been a drinker.

I am going to bed now, more information and details will come later.

Bye.
